 I started drawing orchids using ink and black watercolor pencil when a friend asked me to design a tattoo for him. I never would have thought of drawing orchids without color. These are the first two in a set of cards I will be selling in my Etsy store. Check back soon for more orchids!

Orchids are one of the easiest plants to nurture. First of all, it does not take a lot of effort to grow an orchid in your house. Basically, you just need to water it once every day. It is also fairly easy to trim and does not take a lot to clean. The benefits of having a plant in your house are way too good to pass up on. Your drawings are beautiful. Even they are drawn in black and white they still look alive and beautiful. I like the shadowing and highlights that you made. It made the drawing lively as if there is a flower with that color. You are lucky to have a talent in drawing. My daughter also loves to draw but she still needs more practice to become as good as you. Maybe someday with patience and hard work she will. Your comment will be posted after it is approved.
