territoriality in birds

Researchers at the Durham University and UCLA asked me to paint four species of bird to help communicate their findings regarding interspecific competition for territories. This research looked at territorial signals such as plumage and song, and used these illustrations to help demonstrate plumage similarities and differences. This research showed that interspecific territoriality is common among birds, contrary to historical belief.
